Batch tools in mainstream PDF software apply one password to everything. Sealrift gives each output its own password from your data.
No upload, by design
Payslips carry salaries and National Insurance numbers. Sealrift never receives them: the splitting and encryption code runs on your computer.

If any file is missing a password, or an ID is not in your CSV, export is blocked and the problem is listed.

Prices are in pounds sterling and are the total you pay. Subscriptions renew until you cancel; cancel any time in the billing portal. There is no free trial of Pro: the free version is yours to try for as long as you like.
Questions
Does anything leave my computer?
No document, CSV or password ever leaves your browser. If you have a paid licence and use the web version, the app checks your licence once or twice a day by sending the licence key alone to sealrift.com. The browser extension never makes any network request.
Which PDF readers open the files?
Sealrift uses standard PDF AES-256 encryption (the PDF 2.0 method), which current versions of Adobe Acrobat Reader, macOS Preview and the Chrome, Edge and Firefox PDF viewers open.
Does it email the payslips?
No. Sealrift makes the protected files; you send them the way you already do. It does not send email and never will, which keeps your documents out of anyone else's systems.
How strong is the protection?
AES-256 is only as strong as the password. A date of birth alone can be guessed by someone who knows the person. For sensitive documents, combine two facts (for example the last four characters of the NI number and the postcode) and send passwords separately from the files. See Security.
Is there a browser extension?
Yes: the same app, packaged for Chrome and Edge. It needs no permissions and makes no network requests.
